Annual General Meeting

Stanwell Village Hall, High Street, Stanwell, TW19 7JR

Friday 28th March 2014 commencing 7.30 pm 

You are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of the Spelthorne Association that will take place on Friday 28th March at Stanwell Village Hall, High Street, Stanwell.

Please find enclosed the Agenda (attached).  The Minutes of last year’s AGM together with a written report from the Association Chairman and Statement of Accounts will be provided at the meeting.

Nominations are invited for the Offices of President, Chairman, two Deputy Chairmen, Branch Support Officer, Local Campaigning Officer and Events Officer.  Nominations should be received by me no later than noon on Friday 21st March 2014 and a form is  attached.  Nominations must be signed by a proposer and seconder and the nominee must sign his / her consent to nomination.

In the event of a contested election a secret ballot will be held at the AGM.  Please note that only current paid up FULL members will be entitled to vote.

Our Member of Parliament, Kwasi Kwarteng MP, will then address the meeting.
